The more I think about this pick the more insulted I am as a woman. Does McCain really think that women are stupid.

Here's his take and this is my exact feelings I just can't express them this well:

Think about what the Palin pick really says about how McCain views this campaign and how he views his potential responsibilities in national security.

Think about what it says about the sincerity of McCain's own central criticism of Obama these past two months in foreign affairs.

Think about how he picked a woman to be a heartbeat away from a war presidency who hadn't even thought much, by her own admission, about the Iraq war as late as 2007.

Think about how he made this decision barely knowing the woman.

Think about the fact that the most McCain could say about his potential war-time vice-president in foreign affairs and national security when selecting her is that she commanded Alaska's National Guard as governor and has a son in the military.

Think about the men and women serving this country who have every right to trust that their potential commander-in-chief, whatever their party, would have some record of even interest in foreign policy before assuming office.

Think about how the key factor in this decision was not who could defend this country were something dreadful happen to McCain in office but how to tread as much on Obama's convention bounce and use women's equality as a wedge issue among Democrats because it might secure a few points here or there. Oh, and everyone would be surprised. And even Rove would be annoyed.

This is his sense of honor and judgment. This is his sense of responsibility and service.

Here's the real slogan the McCain campaign should now adopt:

Putting. Country. Last.

I can't imagine wanting to be president this bad. To put your country in jeopardy with a veep pick who had no idea what she is doing.

There was a time when I couldn't even watch the debates because I was afraid he would make a huge mistake. After listening to him tonight I see he has become a pro and hit the ball out of the park.

On Being Selfish

I know there was a time I was angry at Bill Clinton and posted that I might not vote for Hillary. I can guarantee you as a Yellow dog Democrat who has never missed a Presidential election I would have voted for Clinton had she won the primary.

You Hillary supporters need to get over it. You all are acting like preschoolers. It is almost too unbelievable to watch. This election is more important than your hurt feelings!

Especially if you are parents, how selfish it is to either refuse to vote or vote for the old fart. We are living on the edge of a precipice right now and if you can't see that, you are either stupid or kidding yourself.

You are voting for your child's future and possibly the future of the planet. My vote for Barack is a vote my grandchildren's future.

If you have sons and daughters and you don't vote this year you are both selfish and vain and think nothing of that child.

Silence is Golden

My Newest letter to the editor, they said it won't be printed until after Sept. 6th because I just had one in a few weeks ago but I think this one will let a lot of people know things they don't about McCain that the press never cover:

Stop the presses, where is the “liberal” MSM on this: Michelle Obama steals Barack from first wife and children.

The MSM today seems to be hiding the fact that for seven months Michelle and Barack Obama had an affair, while Barack was still living with his first wife, daughter and two adopted sons.

While Barack was away from his first wife and children attending law school, she was involved in a horrible auto accident which left the former model inches shorter, pounds heavier and crippled.

Upon meeting the beauty Michelle, he fell in love and the two had an adulterous affair until his divorce with his deformed first wife, and were married a month later.
Why isn’t this being reported? Oh yes because the “liberal media” doesn’t want the public to know that Obama’s integrity, morality and values, may be questioned by the public.

Second wife Michelle became addicted to prescription painkillers and stole drugs from the charity she started, another MSM silence of reporting.

It has also been discovered that Michelle has apparently fabricated the story about Mother Theresa asking her to take two orphans from Bangladesh to the United States with her, which concluded with Mr. and Mrs. Obama adopting one of the girls. At the time of the adoption the drug controversy was in full swing and this seemed to take the sting out of the drug narrative.

What! I have my history wrong? Oh my gosh, this is really about John and Cindy McCain! Shhhh, you never heard any of this and no wonder our wonderful fourth estate stands in silence. I get it now. John McCain was in the military and a POW; you should never question his morals, integrity or values, not ever, ever, ever and never, never, never! As a matter of fact any questions on McCain should be treated as treason. The silence is almost deafening, as it should be.
