Being Liberal and a Progressive in a RED STATE is not an easy thing these days. I started this blog to vent my frustrations on our lives being taken over by right wing conservatives with their propaganda machines. I have also learned an important lesson in the last year, it is that reading is the only way to get real information, you cannot depend on the news you see on TV.

How Low Can You Go?

For all those pundits out there that said Plamegate wasn't anything the common American was watching:

CBS Poll Finds Public Takes Plamegate Seriously
Bush, Now
Approve
35%
Disapprove
57%

Nixon, Gallup Poll, 11/1973
Approve
27%
Disapprove
63%

Bush's low job approval is far below that of some of his two-term predecessors at this point in their second terms. In November 1985, President Reagan had a 65 percent approval rating, and Bill Clinton's job approval in November 1997 was 57 percent. Bush's rating is higher than Richard Nixon's was at the same point in his administration.
