Four Years of Nothing

I think I would laugh if I didn't want to cry. We have had four years to plan for disasters since 9/11. I figured at least if nothing else this administration was planning for attacks and disasters in our largest cities. I now know that was a really stupid assumption. With traffic at a standstill in Houston it appears no city was prepared for a disaster whether manmade or natural. What have we done with all that planning and money? With people on the roads who are traveling at 1 MPH it sure makes my soul feel safer. This is another New Orleans shaping up with travelers unable to proceed to safety. We have a non-government government that cares not one twit about its own citizens.

It is each man for its own and no wonder anarchy prevailed in New Orleans!
