Michael Moore Scholarship for Student's Freedom of Speech

Filmmaker and outspoken political activist, Michael Moore, will offer new scholarship to Cal State San Marcos students who show they “have done the most to fight for issues of student rights by standing up to the administration of Cal State San Marcos,” he said in an announcement Wednesday.

The Oscar-winning director was schedule to speak on the Cal State San Marcos campus last year, until the school’s president cancelled the appearance stating Moore was too “political.”
