Being Liberal and a Progressive in a RED STATE is not an easy thing these days. I started this blog to vent my frustrations on our lives being taken over by right wing conservatives with their propaganda machines. I have also learned an important lesson in the last year, it is that reading is the only way to get real information, you cannot depend on the news you see on TV.

President George W. Bush has decided not to reauthorize the controversial domestic warrantless surveillance program for terrorism suspects and to put it under the authority of a secret special court, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said on Wednesday.

I think you are too hopeful. I predict we will eventually discover that he:

--got a judge to issue a single, blanket warrant, or

--got a judge to find that warrantless wiretaps are legal, or

--is simply lying, and the program continues as before.
