Being Liberal and a Progressive in a RED STATE is not an easy thing these days. I started this blog to vent my frustrations on our lives being taken over by right wing conservatives with their propaganda machines. I have also learned an important lesson in the last year, it is that reading is the only way to get real information, you cannot depend on the news you see on TV.

Bush had Bin Ladin actually cornered in Tora Bora mountain, and let him slip through his fingers. While Clinton was president Bin Ladin had not successfully attacked the USA with such effect as happened on 9-11, yet Clinton did make attempts to get Bin Ladin and came close. A cynic might even wonder if Bush really wants to get Bin Ladin at all, since he is a handy-dandy "Boogeyman" that can be shaken at the public to justify all sorts of government acts and further reduction of freedoms.
