Being Liberal and a Progressive in a RED STATE is not an easy thing these days. I started this blog to vent my frustrations on our lives being taken over by right wing conservatives with their propaganda machines. I have also learned an important lesson in the last year, it is that reading is the only way to get real information, you cannot depend on the news you see on TV.

No Talent

This looks like fun:

Submit Your Entries for the First-Ever "No Talent Show

We need Democrats across the state to design ads - either print/billboard or, for the more tech-savvy, Web/TV - explaining Jim Talent's out-of-touch positions on important issues in the campaign. Don't just send a slogan; actually design a sign or commercial. Possible issues to address include:

  • Cuts to Medicare and Medicaid
  • Veterans' Affairs
  • Tax-Break Giveaways to Big Oil
  • Stem Cell Research and Cures
  • Talent's 11 Votes against Raising the Minimum Wage
  • Social Security
