Being Liberal and a Progressive in a RED STATE is not an easy thing these days. I started this blog to vent my frustrations on our lives being taken over by right wing conservatives with their propaganda machines. I have also learned an important lesson in the last year, it is that reading is the only way to get real information, you cannot depend on the news you see on TV.

Is Harry Scary?

Christian Publisher Pans Potter, Presents Bible-Based Comic Alternative

The publisher of the "Truth for Youth" Bible is addressing the dangers of the Harry Potter book series with a new, youth-targeted resource -- a scripture-based comic book.

Now, in the interest of offering more Bible-based, topical truth to kids and adults, Tim Todd has developed a new youth-targeted comic. Its purpose, according to the minister, is to combat the lies hidden inside the phenomenally popular Harry Potter book series.
