Guard Enlistments Down for 9 Straight Months

I keep reading and hearing this statement from the spokespeople for the military:

"The recruiting environment remains difficult in terms of economic conditions and alternatives," the Army said in a statement released Monday.

What a bunch of horse manure. The economy is crap. No one wants to enlist because of Iraq and getting blown up.
