Being Liberal and a Progressive in a RED STATE is not an easy thing these days. I started this blog to vent my frustrations on our lives being taken over by right wing conservatives with their propaganda machines. I have also learned an important lesson in the last year, it is that reading is the only way to get real information, you cannot depend on the news you see on TV.

Condi 's Pakistan Visit Protested



Labour Party workers and peace activists staged a peaceful demonstration in front of the American Consulate on Friday to protest US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice’s visit to Pakistan.

The rally demanded that Rice should go back immediately. They displayed banners and placards with messages such as ‘No US bases allowed in Pakistan’, ‘Rice your are not welcome’, ‘Rice: War Monger’, ‘Rice: War fanatic’ and ‘Rice get out of Pakistan’.
